Rolled Sugar Cookies
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cp shortening
4 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
4 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
Cream shortening and sugar throughly.
Add in gradually remaining ingredients.
Roll out dough cut with cutters
Dont make thin make thickness of index finger .
Bake 350 10 minutes watch might take less !
Old Fashioned Molasses Popcorn Balls
1 cup sugar 1 cp molasses
1/3 cup corn syrup
1/3 cp ICE water
1 TBSP vinegar
1tbsp butter
3-4 quarts popcorn popped
Pop corn
BOIL the mixture of Sugar, Syrup, 1 butter,Molasses.
Drop a little into Water Look for Softballstage.

Pour over the corn mix well with spoon then use leftover butter
Grease up your hands and make into balls when cool
wrap them airtight enjoy !
" Soft Ball Stage is This means,
When a little drizzled off a spoon into a glass measuring cup

Old Fashioned Molasses Cream Cookies
1 1/2 cup butter only soft
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs beaten
2 tablespooon cinnamon
1/2 cup molasses
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tspcloves
Cream the butter and sugar well.
Add in eggs one by one mix well .
Add in the spices mix well.
Sift flour and baking soda gently add into wet mixture
blend in completely mix fully.
Roll into balls size of large walnut or ping pong sized
I perfer a bit larger 1/12 times walnut.
Cookies will flaten down during baking process.
Bake 350 for 10- 12 minutes
I find about 6 best in todays ovens.
lift up a cookie see if bottom looks lightly browned and holds shape
if yes they can come out if NO let bake another 3 minutes
then should be done.
Deluxe Rice Krispie Bars
Butter a 9x13 pan before making !
1 cp white corn syrup clear 6 cps Rice Krispies
1 cp sugar 1 cp Peanut butter chips
1 cp Peanut butter 1 cp chocolate chips
Bring corn syrup and sugar just to a boil state then
stir in peanut butter. Stir until smooth Add in Rice Krispies
Pat down into a Buttered 9x13 pan.
Melt chocolate chips spread over
top of Krispies then cool cut into 1 inch squares
